Since first teaching himself how to code when he should’ve been studying for the MCAT, Dan has been obsessed with using science and technology to hack outstanding challenges in health and society. Dan pursued a PhD at Harvard Medical School, where he used network strategies developed for the internet to study complex diseases like glioblastoma. He now works to realize the promise of artificial intelligence for single-cell scientists everywhere.

It’s hard to think of a major breakthrough in flow cytometry that Pratip hasn’t had a guiding hand in. Pratip has helped introduce such foundational tools as 30-parameter flow cytometry, quantum dots, and Brilliant Violet dyes. He founded NYU’s Precision Immunology Incubator and Talon Biomarkers, two organizations at the forefront of biomarker discovery. Pratip’s work is making precision immunology a reality for millions of patients.
